Resetting Your Password: Step-by-Step Guide
If you need to reset your login password for your payment gateway account, follow these steps:
Go to the login page of the Merchant Administration: https://pay1.plugnpay.com/admin/
Click “Reset Password.”
Enter your account information:
Email Address: Your primary contact email associated with your account.
Login Username: Your account username (all lowercase).
Submit your request by clicking Submit Password Request.
Check your email.
If the information matches your account, you will receive a password confirmation email within a few minutes.
Click the confirmation link in the email to proceed.
Receive your temporary password.
This password is case sensitive. Keep it safe for login.
Log in with your temporary password:
Return to the login page: https://pay1.plugnpay.com/admin/
Enter your username (all lowercase) and the temporary password exactly as provided (do not copy and paste for best results).
Click Log In.
Set a new password:
You will see a screen prompting you to change your temporary password.
Enter the temporary password in Current Password.
Choose a new password (case sensitive) that you haven’t used in the last 12 months.
If you have problems, use only letters (upper & lower case) and numbers. Avoid spaces, punctuation, or special characters. Some users have issues with non-alphanumeric characters.
Ensure it is at least 12 characters long.
Enter the new password again in Confirm Password.
Click Submit.
Troubleshooting:
If your new password is rejected, check the error message and repeat the last step with corrections.
Completion:
Once accepted, you will be logged out automatically.
Log in again using your username (all lowercase) and your new password. Your new password is now active.
