Remote Client Password Setup

To setup the Remote Client Password, follow the below steps.

- Go to the login page of your Merchant Administration

(https://pay1.plugnpay.com/admin/)

- Click on the 'Security Administration' link.

- Click on the 'Username/Password Configuration' link.

- In the 'Remote Client' section, click on the 'Manage Remote Client Password' button.

- Check box next to I'm not a robot. Answer the CAPTCHA if displayed.

- Click on the 'Generate Remote Password' button.

You will be presented with your random password in the Remote Client password box.

This is a 1-time display of the random remote client password.

To use the Remote Client Password with your remote server's interface, simply supply us the remote client password within the 'publisher-password' field. You will continue to send us your account's master login username within the 'publisher-name' field normally.

Once you have set the Remote Client Password, a level 14 user, named 'Remote Client', will appear within the 'Username/Password Configuration' section of your Security Administration area. This indicates that you set a remote client password for use with your payment gateway account.
