Setting Up Your Remote Client Password

To create a Remote Client Password for your payment gateway account, follow these steps:

1. Log in to Merchant Administration: https://pay1.plugnpay.com/admin/

2. Navigate to Security Settings:

   • Click Security Administration.

   • Then click Username/Password Configuration.

3. Manage Remote Client Password:

   • In the Remote Client section, click Manage Remote Client Password.

   • Click Generate Remote Password.

4. View your password:

   • Your new Remote Client Password will appear in the password box.

   • Important: This is a one-time display. Make sure to copy it somewhere safe.

5. Use the Remote Client Password with Remote API:

   • Provide this password to your remote server interface in the publisher-password field.

   • Continue using your account’s master login username in the publisher-name field as usual.

6. Confirmation:

   • After setting the password, a level 14 user named Remote Client will appear in the Username/Password Configuration section.

   • This confirms your Remote Client Password is active and ready for use.
